Loving and Learning in Lodi January 13 2019
Last week, as 2019 began, we renewed our baptismal vows, remembered our baptism and gave thanks as well as received communion and remembered Christ’s gifts of forgiveness and grace.
This week, we’ll take time to thank our leadership and pray for them as 2019 begins, and they continue their ministries and work for Christ and on our behalf.
See you Sunday!
From our prayer time on Sunday, January 6th:
~Sunny turned 74 last week! He hopes to continue to see the green side! 😉

~Kathleen Hastings niece is now in remission and doing well!
~Colette Laughlin received a 4 pt for the first semester and, stay off the sidewalks, she has her driver’s temps!

~Elva Dunham sent joys with Rev. Diane: 1. Reading the Advent booklet message each day. 2. All the cards they have received. 3. The last Sunday they were greeters in December, they ran out of bulletins – how wonderful! 4. Our prayers sure keep their family’s spirits up!

A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors.
But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves.
